Introduction
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba certification program, and your first step into a lifetime of underwater adventures. With Oxybulles Diving Rawai, you’ll learn to dive in a safe, fun, and professional environment guided by Alain Barrat, our Swiss PADI Instructor Trainer with more than 25 years of experience in Phuket.
By the end of this course, you will be a certified diver, able to dive independently with a buddy anywhere in the world, down to a maximum depth of 18 meters.
What You Will Learn
The course combines theory, practice, and real diving experiences:

📘 Knowledge Development – Learn diving principles, equipment use, safety procedures, and how to plan dives.

🏊 Confined Water Sessions – Practice essential scuba skills in shallow water until you feel confident.

🌊 Open Water Dives – Complete 6 dives in the Andaman Sea at stunning sites such as Racha Yai or Racha Noi.
You will gain confidence in:

Buoyancy control and underwater movement.

Communication underwater.

Planning and executing safe dives.
Course Structure & Duration

Duration: 3 days (flexible scheduling available)

Day 1: Confined water training in the pool or shallow sea

Day 2: 2 open water dives at Racha Islands (max depth 12m)

Day 3: 2 open water dives at Racha Yai or Racha Noi (max depth 18m)
This option is only available if you complete the theory portion online before arriving in Phuket, or before the course starts, through PADI eLearning.
Prerequisites

Minimum age: 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver).

Ability to swim 200 meters and float for 10 minutes.

No prior scuba experience required.
